NEAR MINT, PARK DRIVE CIGARETTES ENAMEL FLANGE SIGN
£0
£999
Park Drive Cigarettes were a brand of the Irish Gallaher group - one of the largest tobacco companies in the world. A machine-made cigarette brand, Park Drive, was introduced from 1902.
This particular sign probably dates from the 1930s/'40s and combines strong colours with absolutely stunning Deco graphics... Although the company definitely had some incredible styling, less can be said about their multi-buy discounts as they advertise 5 cigarettes for 2 pence or 10 for 4 pence!?
The sign remains in absolutely fantastic condition with both sides retaining good colours and gloss with absolutely minimal damage; the flange, which allows the sign to be mounted at perpendicular to the wall is also in fantastic condition - it's quite possible this sign was either only ever hung indoors or possibly never displayed...
The sign measures 40cm wide x 30.5m high with a 4cm flange.
