This lovely, simple rectangular sign shows the iconic logo and colour scheme of one of the world's largest film/camera companies. This particular sign would have originated in France (with the auxiliary writing translating to 'Products on sale here') and probably dates to the 1940s-'50s.

Interestingly it was produced in house by Kodak-Pathé, Kodak-Pathé is a collaboration exclusive to Kodak's French plant; Kodak France incorporated the French cine-film factory of Charles Morand Pathé in 1927.

The sign has a 1.5cm return adding to it's rigidity and aiding hanging, it has at some point been flexed in the middle causing enamel loss around the upper and lower central edges, there's also some patches of enamel loss to the corners and one smallish area beneath the 'O'. The enamel has lost some of it's gloss in a few areas, particularly around the 'A', but generally the colours remain bright and punchy.

Overall the sign measures 1.16m wide x 30cm high x 1.5cm deep and can be hung using the original mounting holes.
