This large (just over 1.5m wide) double-sided Coca-Cola enamel sign is about as good as they get. It's variant of the logo dates from the 1900s-'40s and the quality and the condition are both fantastic - the white enamel layer for the lettering is wonderfully thick (see the second photo along for my best attempt to capture this with a camera), the red remains vibrant and the enamel retains a lovely gloss..

The upper edge of the sign has a small, 3cm, return which would have originally been used as part of it's hanging (see the last photo - looking up at the return) and there are a couple of other mount holes including two at the bottom from which a further sign may have originally hung.

Condition is generally excellent, there are some small areas of discolouration and marking and one one side there is a small area of enamel loss around the 'A' of Cola as well as slight losses around some of the mounting holes. Given the age and size this sign is in much better condition than would generally be expected - the quality of the base metal and enamel are fantastic (and subsequently the sign is impressively weighty) and the piece has real impact with an iconic brand.

The sign measures 152.5cm wide, 89cm high and has the aforementioned 3cm return at the top.
