With fantastic shape and colours, this Tecalemit Official Station Enamel sign is a bit of a rarity. Tecalemit were a Plymouth based company that manufactured/supplied equipment to the motor trade, generally their signs were either for a subsidiary car valeting company or in conjunction with other petrol companies such as MobilOil. This example just bears the Tecalemit branding which is a pleasant variant on an already unusual piece. Condition wise the sign does show wear, the blue enamel of the arrow is faded/discoloured and inner red band is also fading on the ends. There are large patches of corrosion and the arrow is possibly missing it's tip (though the I've been unable to ascertain whether the snub-nosed arrow is correct). Despite the wear the shape and bright colours keep this piece very distinctive and visually appealing, the writing is all readable and generally the corrosion hasn't created holes. 
The sign is 60.5cm high, 110cm wide and around 15mm deep.
