The Mystery of Picasso - an original US one-sheet film poster from the film's release in 1956. Henri-Georges Clouzot 'took on' Pablo Picasso to examine his creative process and essence as an artist. 

 

The poster employs simple, yet effective imagery with Picasso's iconic signature splashed across the upper third of the poster is a bright yellow. It's survived the decades well with the only notable 'damage' being the wear along the original fold lines which is typical, even inevitable, with the glossy posters from this period and in this instance is definitely better than most examples. 

 

The poster has been professionally framed using conservation grade backing paper and is ready to hang. Including the frame it measures 107cm high x 71.5cm wide x 2.5cm deep.
