This mid-century, coiled silver snake ring is a cheerful thing! The piece was produced by Viners Ltd of Sheffield and bears their EV maker's mark to the inside of the ring (see last photo). 

 

It's survived the decades well with just light surface scratches / marks. 

 

The ring is a size H (49.5mm circumference) and measures 1.5cm in length (measuring the head side) being a long ring, it would be for a slightly smaller finger than a 'true' H.
