This genuine example of a mid-century, cast iron Butcher's advertising pig remains in a wonderful untouched condition and in it's original paint. 

 

A beautifully well formed model, the pig is adorned in his chef's whites with spoons in his left hand pocket and this example oozes character with lovely surface patination forming through the simple, warm yellow and white colours. Being made from cast iron, he's weighty enough to function as a door-stop but is also perfect bit a bit of vintage kitchen / cafe / restaurant decoration.
