APOCALYPSE NOW - ORIGINAL FILM POSTER
£480
£999
Apocalypse Now was released on 1st December 1979 and is an American epic psychological war film directed and produced by Francis Ford Coppola. The budget went completely mental as did Martin Sheen with Marlon Brandon, but it's quite possibly Coppola’s best work. The fact that Marlon Brando couldn’t remember his lines seems insignificant as the film is renowned for one of the most iconic scenes ever, played out to the tune of ‘Ride of the Valkyries’...
"I love the smell of napalm in the morning, smells like victory"
This original US one sheet film poster from the film's release remains in excellent condition. There's a little marking around the outer edges and some light wear along the original fold lines which is to be expected with the glossy posters from this era - generally this is how you would want / expect to find an original, vintage film poster and is all part of it's character + charm.
The poster has been professionally framed using conservation grade backing paper and is ready to hang. Including the frame it measures 107cm high x 71.5cm wide x 2.5cm deep.
NOTE - our watermark is, obviously enough, not on the actual item.
