A charming set of vintage, scratch-built, French pigeon holes. Painted in a dark green paint that's developed a wonderful craquelure surface. 

 

This set of pigeon holes measures 76cm wide x 52cm high x 16.5cm deep - a good size for sitting on a table top or mantlepiece, it also has fixings allowing it to be wall hung. 

 

The shelves have been competently made, using a combination of ply wood and a softwood, probably pine - likely for use in a garage. They do show signs of their industrial past; there are paint runs, water marking, oil staining and glue spills but this all adds to the character of the piece.
