This lovely English Chesterfield sofa is likely to date to the mid-20th century, is a lovely rich brown that has aged well and lightened nicely along the front of the arms and seat. It comes with a deep buttoned seat which is, in my opinion, both more comfortable and visually appealing than examples with seperate seat cushions. The sofa sits on turned wooden feet at the front and square section wooden legs at the rear.

The sofa does show signs of ageing and use with scuffs visible to the leather on the back and sides and wear/cracking to the leather on the seat of the sofa - mainly to the left side (when facing the sofa) - this has been detailed as best as possible in the latter photographs. There is a slight dip to the middle of the sofa - though this actually makes it a little more comfortable and 'worn-in' feeling. The sofa could benefit from some restoration, or is suitable to enjoy as is - with a little more character and no need to worry about little scuffs/scratches etc!

In total the sofa is 2.09m wide x 70cm high x approx. 90cm deep. The seat of the sofa is 1.44m wide x 35.5cm high x 54cm deep.
