"American Frohse Anatomical Charts - edited, revised and augmented by Max Brodel - The Circulatory System / The Nervous System" - distributed by Adam Rouilly & Co. Ltd.

 

Measuring in at just over 1.6m high, these two wonderfully detailed skeletons certainly make for a statement piece! The poster was retailed by Adam Rouilly & Co Ltd when they were at their Fitzroy Street address dating this poster between 1922-1964 - I would guess at this example being c.1940s-'50s. It's survived the decades in very good order with minimal creasing and no losses. A strip along the bottom middle covers over some text that evidently needed to be redacted... Both the original wooden 'staffs' remain in place and the chart displays well. 

 

The chart measures 162cm high x 105cm wide.
