"View of the Center of Paris taken from the Air" - a beautifully detailed, bird’s-eye-view poster of Paris was created for the French Tourist Office in 1954. This version, printed in English was produced from 1958.

 

The poster is framed in a simple wooden frame, probably period to the poster's printing in the late '50s. The poster appears to have been pasted to the backing board when framed, the pasting has resulted in a heavy yellowing of the print creating an incredibly vintage look / feel but there's no detail loss.

 

The piece measures 109cm wide x 68cm high x 3.5cm deep and is ready to hang.
