EARLY 20TH C. BOVRIL ADVERTISING POSTER
£0
£999
A wonderfully rare survivor, this bold and incredibly topical Bovril poster dates to the 1930s and would have originally been intended for pasting onto a billboard or similar.
These posters were never meant to be kept or to survive - the striking letters have been block printed onto thin, newspaper like paper-stock and this should've been stuck up and then ripped down and thrown away. The fact that this survived, unpasted and fairly undamaged is a small miracle!
A very graphic, eye catching piece that displays well. The poster has been professionally framed and glazed and is ready to hang.
Including the frame, the poster measures 80cm high x 54.5cm wide.
