This mid-late 19th century, continental pewter plate is a wonderfully decorative piece. A large coat of arms adorns the centre of the plate and the outer edge is also nicely decorated. 

 

The plate is nicely worn, plenty of character without impacting the clarity of the designs. The plate looks as if it could be a lot older so will fit in with a huge range of interiors... 

 

This piece measures 30cm in diameter.
