With it's gilding and shaded cast shadow, this early - mid 20th century, hand painted door number probably originated from a shop front and is a fantastic bit of signwriting.

 

Measuring in at just over 60cm wide it's generously proportioned and has aged nicely with a lovely surface craquleur. It's painted onto a single board with a moulded frame to the front. 

 

The perfect gift for a resident of number 34 and / or an appreciator of signwriting, the overall dimensions for this piece are 61.5cm wide x 30.5cm high x 4.5cm deep.
